Van Sales Driver (02): Kampala & Luwero Full Time

Job Summary

Our Client Champion Winers Limited one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of Champion Products is seeking a motivated and reliable Driver Van Sales Representative to join their team. This role is responsible for promoting and selling our products directly to customers from the van, building strong customer relationships, meeting sales targets, and ensuring safe and timely product deliveries. The ideal candidate has excellent sales and customer service skills, is organized, and has a passion for driving sales growth.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service:

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct regular customer visits, presenting products and promotions.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Provide product information, answer customer questions, and address concerns.

Product Delivery:

• Ensure accurate, timely delivery of products to customers.
• Load and unload products in a secure manner to prevent damages.
• Maintain up-to-date records of deliveries, returns, and inventory.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and manage stock levels in the van to ensure availability of products.
• Conduct routine inventory checks to maintain accurate records.
• Reorder products as needed to meet customer demand.

Cash & Invoice Handling:

• Collect payments from customers and issue receipts.
• Reconcile daily cash and sales records, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Follow company policies on cash handling and banking procedures.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the van.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.
• Report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.

Reporting & Compliance:

• Complete daily sales reports and submit them to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Adhere to all company policies, health, and safety standards.
• Maintain compliance with traffic and road regulations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Diploma in a business related field. UACE holders with sales and driving experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales or delivery roles; prior experience in van sales is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, basic math skills for cash handling, excellent time management, and attention to detail.
